Privacy Policy

JourneyMe collects only the information needed to run accounts, publish contributions, and keep the community safe.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your username, account identifier, password credential, profile emoji, and account creation date.
  • Content and activity: contributions you publish, their page coordinates and formatting, and interactions such as likes.
  • Safety information: reports you submit, reports about content, blocked-account relationships, and moderation actions.
  • Technical information: limited information our service providers generate to operate, secure, and diagnose the service, such as request and authentication logs.

How we use information

We use this information to create and authenticate accounts, display profiles and contributions, provide app features, prevent abuse, review reports, enforce community rules, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support requests.

Public information

Your username, profile emoji, and published contributions may be visible to other JourneyMe users. Do not post personal or sensitive information that you do not want others to see.

Service providers and sharing

JourneyMe uses Supabase to provide database hosting and account authentication. Information is shared with service providers only as needed to operate and secure JourneyMe. We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account information and content while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from Settings in the app. Account deletion removes your account, profile, contributions, and associated app data, except information we must retain where required by law or reasonably necessary for security and abuse prevention.

Security

Authentication credentials are processed by Supabase Auth. JourneyMe does not display or store a readable copy of your password. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information.

Children’s privacy

JourneyMe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as JourneyMe changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the date at the top.
